Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Paiges mobile application ("App") operated by Her Tech Legacy ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using Paiges, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Paiges. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental consent to use the App.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Paiges to:

• Post content that is hateful, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Upload content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise collect data from the App without permission

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on Paiges, including book reviews, quotes, and profile information ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Her Tech Legacy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and store that content solely for the purpose of operating the App.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not endorse any User Content posted by users.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, at our sole discretion.

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Paiges offers a premium subscription ("Paiges Premium") available for purchase through Apple's App Store. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's Terms of Sale.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings under your Apple ID
• We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice

For refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly, as all billing is managed through the App Store.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within the Paiges App — excluding User Content — is owned by Her Tech Legacy and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of Paiges is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Disclaimers

Paiges is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss of data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Her Tech Legacy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of Paiges, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App. Upon deletion, your account and all associated data will be permanently removed. This action cannot be undone.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
