support@paiges.appYour Shelf
Your shelf is where all your books live, organized into three statuses.
Adding a book to your shelf
- Tap the + button in the top-right corner of any screen.
- Search by title or author name. Results come from Google Books and Open Library.
- Tap a result to select it. You can also tap Add Manually at the bottom of results to enter a book yourself.
- Set the book's status: TBR, Currently Reading, or Finished.
- Add a rating, review, dates, genres, and any notes. Tap Save.
Moving a book between shelves (TBR → Reading → Finished)
- Tap the book on your shelf to open its detail view.
- Tap Edit.
- Change the Status field to the new shelf.
- Tap Save.
Keeping a book entry private
- Open the book entry and tap Edit.
- Turn the Public toggle off.
- Tap Save. The entry will only be visible to you — it won't appear in the community feed or on your public profile.
Removing duplicate books after a Goodreads import
- Go to Settings (hamburger menu in the top-left).
- Under Data, tap Remove Duplicates.
- Paiges will show you every duplicate it found. Tap Remove to keep the best copy of each and delete the extras.
Reading Log & Streak
Log pages or chapters each day to build your reading streak and track your progress.
Logging your reading for today
- Go to Profile (hamburger menu → Profile).
- Tap Log Today.
- Select the book you read, then enter the number of pages or chapters.
- You can log multiple books in one day — tap Add Another Book to add more.
- Tap Save. Your streak and stats will update automatically.
Your reading streak increases each day you log at least one session. Missing a day resets it.
Editing or viewing past reading sessions
- Go to the hamburger menu and tap Reading Log.
- This shows a journal-style table of all your finished books by year, with start date, finish date, and rating.
- For a detailed day-by-day history, tap Reading History in the hamburger menu.
- Tap any past entry to edit it.
Goodreads Import
Paiges imports directly from your public Goodreads profile — no file download or export needed.
How to import your Goodreads library
- Make your Goodreads profile public. In the Goodreads app, go to the person icon → Settings → Account Settings → Privacy → set your profile to Public.
- Copy your Goodreads profile link. In the Goodreads app, tap the person icon → tap your name or profile photo → tap the three dots (···) or Share → tap Copy Link. Your link will look like:
goodreads.com/user/show/12345678 - In Paiges, open the hamburger menu → Settings.
- Tap Import from Goodreads.
- Paste your link and tap Find My Books.
- Paiges shows a preview of your Read, Currently Reading, and Want to Read shelves. Tap Import to bring them all in.
After your first import, Paiges saves your connection and auto-syncs every 24 hours when you open the app. You can also tap Sync Now in Settings anytime.
Import says "No books found"
- This almost always means your Goodreads profile is still set to Private. Double-check: Goodreads app → Settings → Account Settings → Privacy → Public.
- Confirm your link looks like
goodreads.com/user/show/12345678. - Try copying the link again fresh from the Goodreads app's Share button.
Some books didn't import
- Books already on your Paiges shelf are skipped automatically to prevent duplicates.
- Only your three main Goodreads shelves are imported — Read, Currently Reading, and Want to Read. Custom shelves are not included.
- For any missing books, use the + Add Book button to add them manually.
Adding Friends
Follow other readers to see their public activity in your Community feed.
How to find and follow readers
- Tap the hamburger menu (☰) in the top-left corner.
- Tap Find Readers.
- Type a person's name or username — the search checks both.
- Tap Follow next to their name.
Following on Paiges is one-way, like Twitter. You don't need them to follow you back to see their activity.
Can't find someone
- Try searching by their display name if their username doesn't show up, or vice versa.
- Ask them to share their exact username from their Profile → Edit Profile screen.
- If you follow someone but don't see their books in your feed, they may have all their entries set to Private.
Books & Covers
A book isn't showing up in search
- Try searching by author name only, or shorten the title.
- If it still doesn't appear, scroll to the bottom of search results and tap Add Manually.
Indie, self-published, and very recently released books may not be in Google Books or Open Library. Add Manually is the best fix for these.
Cover image is missing or incorrect
- Tap the book to open it, then tap Edit.
- Tap the cover image at the top of the edit screen.
- Choose Upload Photo to pick an image from your Camera Roll.
- Tap Save.

- Set a new password and sign back in.
Check your spam folder if the email doesn't arrive within a couple of minutes.
Changing your username or display name

- Tap Edit Profile.
- Update your display name or username. Usernames must be lowercase with no spaces.
- Tap Save.
Deleting your account
- Go to Settings (hamburger menu → Settings).
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm twice. This permanently deletes your account and all reading data — it cannot be undone.
Premium & Purchases
Premium isn't unlocking after purchase
- Go to Settings inside Paiges and tap Restore Purchases.
- Make sure you're signed in with the same email address you used to purchase.
- Check your internet connection — restoring requires a live connection.
- Force-close Paiges, reopen it, and try Restore Purchases again.
- If it's still not working, email us with your account email and purchase date.
How to cancel Premium
- Inside Paiges, go to Settings → Manage Subscription.
- Alternatively, go to iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Paiges → Cancel Subscription.
Cancelling stops future charges. You keep Premium access until the end of your current billing period.
